What is a Visa?

A visa is a permission granted to a foreigner to enter and remain in the United Republic of Tanzania for a specific period of time. A visa is issued to a visitor who intends to enter into Tanzania for the purpose of visiting, tourism, leisure, holiday, business, health treatment, attending a conference or any other related activities recognized by Laws of the country.
All foreigners are required to have a Tanzania Visa before entering the country.

What type of Visa will I need?

If you hold a valid Canadian passport - Tanzania has several visa options, but for our use, we will be using the Ordinary Single-Entry Visa. Unless you plan on returning to Tanzania a few times in the year, then get the Multiple Entry Visa.

$50.00 USD

How do I apply for a Visa?

The easiest way to do this is through their eVisa process, from this page you can start the process.

I would be more than happy to help you navigate this and help you apply. Feel free to ask! Besides, I will need to supply you with some information before you can finish the application.
We can simply arrange for an online face to face meeting, where I can show you how it is done or e-mail you the required information.

You may also need to scan and upload documents through their online process.

Keep note that there are several companies that are willing to help you get this visa, but they will charge you extra. Above is the official Government of Tanzania site.
